Kunal makes a promise to Nandini that he will celebrate Janmashtami with her because it is his and Nandini's first Janmashtami together.
Nandini gets the happy hearing this and then later on the occasion of Janmashtami Nandini keeps waiting for Kunal so that she can celebrate Janmashtami with Kunal.
But he is busy helping Mauli as she is serving food to brahmans and on the other hand Pandit Ji tells Nandini that since the mohrat for Janmashtami pooja has finished so he is leaving.
Nandini gets a shock hearing this and then she tries to stop Pandit Ji but he goes from there then Kunal comes.
But Nandini is really upset with him because in a way he failed to fulfill his promise of celebrating Janmashtami with her.
